Using Superannuation for Dental Care

Access Dental Treatment with SuperCare Support

Some patients may qualify to access their superannuation early for treatment. While not directly connected to SuperCare, Eversmile Dental can assist by preparing supporting documents for the application.

Understanding SuperCare’s Role in Early Super Access

SuperCare is a third-party service that assists patients in applying for early superannuation release for approved medical purposes. They facilitate applications for essential dental treatments but don’t influence decisions or promise approval. SuperCare isn’t a lender and isn’t linked to the Australian government or any dental clinic. They simply guide patients through the application process with clear, helpful information.

Some families explore early access to their superannuation through the Australian Government’s Compassionate Release of Superannuation program. To navigate this process, some individuals choose to utilise third-party services, such as SuperCare, for application support and general guidance. These services operate independently, are not affiliated with the ATO or dental clinics, and cannot influence individual application outcomes.

Applying Through SuperCare: The Process

SuperCare is a third-party service that assists with the administrative aspects of the application process. Here’s how the referral and application process works.

Patient Referral

If you decide to explore SuperCare, we can submit a referral on your behalf. A consultant will then contact you to explain the process.

Eligibility Consultation

A SuperCare consultant contacts you to explain the Compassionate Release of Superannuation (CRS) criteria. They answer questions and guide you through the process.

Application Commencement

Once you agree to proceed, SuperCare registers you as a client. They request documents from our dental clinic and prepare the required CRS forms.

Application Submission

SuperCare submits your application, along with supporting documents, to the Australian Taxation Office. The ATO typically reviews and responds within 10 business days.

Approval and Fund Release

If approved, you will receive a letter from the ATO to present to your superannuation fund. Once released, we’ll schedule your treatment.
